Many people have Qwest as their ISP. Recently, Qwest did a change on their e-mail servers that affect everyone using Outlook or similar products. We have a solution to the problem and have provided steps to resolve it. If you have any trouble with the steps below, we can establish a remote connection here to help you. We do charge a fee to remotely correct computer issues, so give the steps below a shot!
If you are using Outlook 2003:
- Click on Tools
- Click on E-Mail Accounts
- Click on View or Change Existing Accounts
- Click Change

If you are using Outlook 2007:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Account Settings
- Click Change

If you are using Outlook 2010:
- Click on File
- Click on account settings
- Click change
- (Follow the images below)
Even if the follow images don’t look EXACTLY the same as yours, it should be very close and use the same terminology.

Once you have changed the Outgoing server to 465 and chose that the server is using SSL you should be good to go!
